The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity in Illinois launched WorkShare IL to support businesses during slow periods. WorkShare IL is a voluntary program that lets employers reduce hours worked without layoffs. Employees receive Unemployment (UI) Benefits to compensate for reduced hours.
SC Marketing collaborated with the Illinois Department of Employment Security team to spread awareness about the program. Together, we identified key targets (employers, decision makers) for the programs in a variety of sectors (healthcare, hospitality, etc.) and developed a marketing strategy to deliver those targets with resonant messaging.
With the help of our hyper-targeted digital ads and proprietary A.I. software, SCWebLeads, we captured the contact info of the prospects who visited the WorkShare IL website and shared the contact details with IDES for follow-ups.
Researched Illinois-based trade associations and their annual conferences and events. Initiated outreach to key organizations to explore sponsorship and speaking opportunities, while also coordinating event logistics. Targeted events included those hosted by the Illinois CPA Society, Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA), Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA), Illinois Retail Merchants Association (IRMA), Illinois SHRM, Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA), Illinois Municipal League (IML), and More!
