SC’s Director of Social, Tami Wloch, was just filmed for a Meta commercial. She was chosen to be featured because she was part of the team that beta tested & provided usability feedback on an exciting new Ads Manager feature, Optimization Score.
How Did This Happen?
Tami has been collaborating with Meta Corp for over 7 years. She is part of the Facebook Advisors Group and the Meta’s Advertiser Growth Forum and has had the opportunity to beta test new features, provide feedback on current features, vote on names for new products, and more.
One of the new features she tested was the Meta Opportunity Score. This feature was the first of its kind on Facebook; it rates ads in Ads Manager and delivers a score depending on how well the ad meets best practices in Ads Manager. Plus, it provides personalized feedback on the ad to suggest what you should change to get better results with the ad.
Because Tami thought the final product was so good, she was asked to submit a testimonial for Meta. Then, she was asked to be filmed for Meta, talking about why Opportunity Score is different and better.
This Is a Gamechanger for Meta Ads
Previously, if you had an ad campaign that was not performing well, you would likely not know how to fix that. SC Customers are lucky because Tami and her Team get regular training from Meta (on their Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger platforms) on how to create ads that get huge engagement with the lowest cost-per-click. So, if a particular SC client ad is slightly underperforming, we know what updates to make plus we can have our Meta Rep review the ad and give us their feedback as well.
Opportunity Score gives you suggestions and then your score adjusts when suggestions are implemented. Do note though, that SC has years of knowledge on what to change and what not to change. We evaluate the recommendations and only chose those that are proven to enhance an ad campaign.
What a Great Day
Tami had a fantastic time filming because the film crew was very professional and great to work with. In addition, a team from Meta was also on a Zoom call giving feedback during the entire day’s shoot. We are looking forward to seeing the final product and learning exactly where it will air. This was a great chance to promote an exceptional change in Meta / Facebook Ads Manager.
What’s Next for SC Marketing + Meta
Tami continues to beta test new products for Meta on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. SC Team members continue to meet with their Meta rep at least once per month. Plus, when SC takes on a new client, they set a special meeting with their Meta rep to get guidance on highly targeted audience builds, content that will convert readers to customers, and graphics that will be most effective for “stopping the scroll” – all specifically for the audiences that particular client wants to target.
